Steampunk Ensemble Contest
Steamed!, a blog for Steampunk Fiction, is celebrating their first birthday with a month of Steampunkapalooza!
Every day there is a new guest post and possibly even a contest! The entire celebration was kicked off by (the quite amazing) Steampunk Paranormal Romance author Gail Carriger, and she’s also judging the Steampunk Ensemble Contest! The prize is a $150 Gift Certificate to Clockwork Couture. It’s easy (and fun) to enter, so go over and do that now.
Here is my ensemble:
It’s a rather a Gothic Lolita Steampunk feel placed on the same background as my beautiful book cover for Avalon Revisited. Ideally, the skirt would be less like a skirt and more like a saucy bustle: short in front and fluffy in the back, hanging down to about the knees.
We all love a good bustle.
Perhaps a Steampunk Choker to go with the cameo, too.
If I win, I absolutely must have the Steampunk Rabbit Hole Day Dress. **MUST** … maybe this pocketwatch, too. … and of course this beauty… Yep. I’d spend that $150 pretty fast.
Perhaps I’ll get extra points for piecing the ensemble together mad-scientist style.
