Hardening

“We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.” ~Tom Stoppard. Rozencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead.

  1. If I can humbly add, one of my favorite quotes that mirrors somewhat Stoppard’s sentiment: “Live as if you will die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” — Mohandas Gandhi

Can you imagine how loaded (or free?) our consciences would be with our peers if we living forever meant nothing is ever forgotten? Yet, in Quantum Mechanics nothing is ever forgotten/destroyed. 🙂

Good stuff Grey. Thank you for sharing it!
